EVERYONE HAS HEARD OF E=MC(Squared). IT IS EINSTEIN’S THEORY OF RELATIVITY. BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN AND HOW DOES IT RELATE TO OUR DAILY LIVES?
(This article is the second of a series of the Natural Laws
that support creation or the Law of Attraction. See the
other Laws here)
Without going into mathematics, I would like to introduce
you to the concept of relativity. Very simply it’s a point
of view that is dependent on the observer. You may have
heard the story of the 3 blind men. They were all trying
to describe something new to their experience, an elephant.
The one by its ear said “it’s thin and leathery”. The one
by its trunk said “its like a thick tube” and the one by
it’s tusks said “its hard like stone”. They were all
describing the same animal but from different points of
view. That is the basic concept of relativity.
Another example is if you draw 3 squares in a row, each
consecutively bigger and label them A, B and C. Now if
you look at B, it is relatively small compared to C. But
it is relatively large compared to A. B is neither large or
small. It just “is”.
The same can be said to any situation in our lives. Nothing
is big or small, good or bad until we relate it to something.
If you find yourself in a “negative” situation, remember it
is relative to the things you compare it to. This is important
because it is this perspective that can determine how we
respond to things. It can determine our emotions and our
emotions can lead us to attract things.
It is very hard to do things that do not inspire us. That is
because the emotions we give to that situation determine
our ability to inspire us into action. We may be over weight
but not be inspired to eat better or exercise. We may work
too many hours but we feel that if we don’t someone (including
ourselves) will notice or the job might not get done. We may
not like it when snow blocks our front door but we may
love snow at our favorite ski resort. That is because
relatively speaking, snow means different things in different
situations. Even when the object is unchanged, it’s snow.
So remember when we look at any situation we can decide
how we feel about it. It’s all relative. Remember that when
it comes to the Law of Attraction.
