Law of Polarity – An Example

ALAN WATTS IS KNOWN AS THE MAN WHO BROUGHT EASTERN THOUGHT TO THE WEST IN THE 70′S. MY FATHER HAD A DEEP RESPECT FOR NOT ONLY HIS WRITINGS BUT AS A WESTERNER WHO TRULY UNDERSTOOD THE EAST. WATTS POPULARIZED ZEN & EASTERN THOUGHT

Here is the interesting thing. It doesn’t matter whether it is East or West, culture or religion, individuals or communities, the UNIVERSAL LAWS are everywhere. I know you are saying “That’s why it’s universal”. I want to go so far as saying that every hour, minute and second the Laws are working in and through EVERYTHING YOU DO. The Laws create everything around you and every thought within you. To use a Star Wars term, it is the “Force”.

In this video, Alan Watts discusses “Nothing” but not in the Seinfeld sense (or maybe it is?). The Law of Polarity states that everything has an exact opposite. Newton (the physicist who founded a vast majority of today’s physical sciences) said “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction”

What they are saying is you can’t have dark without light or night without day. Have a think about this in daily life. If it were not for the contrast of polarity, nothing would exist because we wouldn’t see its contrast. Every problem you have must have a solution. How good is that?
