THE LAW OF NON-RESISTANCE IS ONE OF THE 11 FORGOTTEN LAWS THATS EASY TO SEE YET HARD TO RELATE TO. WE SEE THIS LAW EVERYDAY, YET WE (IRONICALLY) RESIST SEEING HOW IT COULD TOTALLY CHANGE OUR LIVES.
The Law of Non-Resistance is one of the more elegant Laws. The reason is we recognise it the moment we see it. The best way is to turn on the tap. You see the water? Water always finds the lowest point. If it gets obstructed, it flows AROUND the object. That is non-resistance.
Think of a stream in the mountains. As the water collects a river forms in the valley. Initially, these tiny streams have to flow AROUND every object they encounter. As the streams become a river they gain momentum and can flow over the object, without changing direction.
The Law of Non-Resistance is about understanding that when we find an obstacle, we must work our way around the problem. Just like the stream, our biggest obstacles are at the begining. As we get more momentum, we no longer need to work around a problem but can flow over it or push it out of the way like water.
What is the opposite to the Law of Non-Resistance? Resistance of course. When we struggle, strive or force an issue it takes our energy and focus. Eventually, we may win but what was the cost? It will tire us or wear us out eventually. When we become more like water, we will struggle less and achieve more faster.
Think of a machine, what wears it out? Friction. The friction we create in our lives can wear us down. By coming up with creative solutions, we can achieve our goals without resistance, struggle or friction.
