My Story of The Secret

A SHORT STORY OF HOW I CAME ACROSS THE SECRET AND HOW I RECOGNIZE IT IN MY DAILY LIFE

About a year ago I watched “The Secret” online. I was fascinated. It stayed in my mind for a long time. I tried to get the DVD but it was unavailable at the time.

It took over a year for it to become available where I live in Australia (it was delayed). In all that time, I waited. Finally, I got a copy. I watched again in anticipation, then it sat on my shelf for a while. As I wasn’t watching it, I lent it to a friend. Almost immediately, the momentum grew. The DAY AFTER a friend brought it up, randomly, in a conversation. I’ve known him for years and we never discussed this topic at all.

The NEXT DAY someone who knew I was into this topic asked if I had a copy of the movie. I told him yes but it was on loan. That SAME day, another friend offered me the opportunity to be part of the phenomenon by purchasing The Secret Seminar which I did straight away.

While I was thinking of The Secret, I thought about attracting more wealth. Then I remembered I needed to call a friend. When I did, his phone was engaged but he called straight back. “I was just thinking of you” he said, “I was on a call doing a deal when I thought, how do I get the money for this? Then you called!” Brilliant! So as I got offered this deal, I went to the bank to make the transfer. On the way out of the bank, I thought “I need a stapler” then as I get to the door of the bank, there is a staff member holding a stapler. How cool is that?

I am so excited by this prospect as I truly believe in the principles demonstrated in The Secret. I know its not new news. It is based on the book by Wallace Wattles called The Science of Getting Rich. But its more than the title eludes to, much more. I will post a short summary of the book soon.
