Origins of The Secret

BEFORE THE SECRET, WAS A BOOK PUBLISHED IN 1910,
The Science of Getting Rich“. HERE IS A QUICK LIST OF
ITS PRINCIPLES AND SHORT COMMENT ON WHERE
THE SECRET CAME FROM

In 1910, Wallis Wattles published a book called
The Science of Getting Rich“. Its goal; to be used
as a “pragmatic” way to lead you to the infinite
riches of the universe.

Many people like Rockefeller, Ford and Edison
attribute their success to this little book
and it is considered a classic. The principles of the book are:

- “A person can form things in his thought, and
by impressing his thought upon the formless can cause
the thing he thinks about to be created”

- This creation is most powerful in the creative rather
than competitive space

- An individual can stay in the creative space merely
by exercising gratitude for all the wonderful things
he can create in service of others

- By maintaining this gratitude and maintaining a
clear vision of his wants
, an individual sees and
creates the opportunities around him for wealth
(however you define wealth)

- Frequent contemplation of your vision with
gratitude is key to get the creative forces with you

- By giving more than the cash value you receive
in life
, you create a cycle of goodwill and integrity
that attracts those willing to help you, stay close to you.
By example, they will attract the same

- Those who stay steadfast in their vision and
creative force (through gratitude) will have wealth
come to him
