Law of Attraction & Emotions

DID YOU KNOW THAT YOUR EMOTIONS ARE YOUR GUIDANCE SYSTEM? DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN ALWAYS GET THE ANSWER YOU NEED IF YOU LOOK INSIDE? HERE IS A DRAFT EXCERPT OF MY UPCOMING BOOK. IT IS VERY ENCOURAGING TO FIND THAT MY WORK IS IN LINE WITH ESTER HICK & ABRAHAM. IT IS KEY TO MASTERING THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU BECOME MORE AWARE OF YOUR EMOTIONS?

When you initially start to become more aware of your intuitive emotions, you may find you are a bit rocky to start. This is something like learning to ride a bike and having the early wobbles before you become proficient.

Emotional “wobbles” pretty much end up as combinations of overwhelm, indifference and confusion. As this settles you will have greater access the subtler emotions of every moment. These are the very small emotions that you may not have noticed before. You may be sitting in a chair and notice you feel different before and after you watch a news item on TV or remember something from your past. Finally, you will notice small emotional responses in a reactive sense to everything you experience. This may in response to hearing some news, looking at a pleasant scene or tasting some food. As part of this, you may eventually feel a response to questions you ask yourself. For me, this experience is a combination of words and emotions that do not really come from conscious thought. They are responses to incidents before you have even had a chance to think about it. You may have had the odd experience like this. Its kind of a knee jerk reaction to stimulus. It is actually a continuous feedback system on what your unconscious mind is processing and evaluating. If you learn to listen to it continuously you can get a good idea of what you can do and what you should actually be doing. This system actually very insightful and for me has a sense of humor about it. It’s a perfect companion when you truly don’t have an answer yet you need a quick response. All you need to do is choose an appropriate specific question and listen for the first answer that comes to your head. You should be as precise as you can with your question because you will get a very exacting answer and if you ask a sub-par question, you WILL get a sub-par answer.

As you become aware of them you will find they offer great guidance. At this point you can use your intellect to actually do something. Does that mean you give up your free will? Well, technically, it is your decision so you aren’t giving up per se. In my experience has been the correct decision every time. It does rely to a degree on the amount of information you have to make a decision but to counter that, it has already taken in a great deal of other information that you may not have consciously decided to take note of. In the end the result is pretty much spot on and is balanced in the long run.

An example of this exercise may be.

Question: “What should I have for lunch a salad or go buy something at the store?”

Answer: “Have the salad now, its quick and easy. It will probably even do you good. You have to go out to the post office later, if you are still hungry then go buy something”

Remember this is as much about feel as words. If you receive an answer that makes you feel better, work with that. There are no wrong answers and there is no one way that people may receive a response.

So what does this mean over time? I have found that my life eventually “self corrected”. The natural and right decisions became self evident and it became easier and easier to make those right decisions. Now it has momentum. For me, it allows me to play to my strengths and achieve what I am best equipped to do in life. I am infinitely more content and less stressed in life. I would even go so far as say, I achieve way more than I used to.

I suppose the best place to start is something along the lines of John Lennon’s “Imagine”. Its about suspending beliefs and contemplating all options that arise out of it. Imagine that you truly and 100% followed your Heart self and allowed your intellect to dream up the vast array of ways to tackle everything you “decide”. Like any theory there are some underlying assumptions. I will list them below

  • The Intuitive self answers instantly, if there is doubt, consciousness interferes. Any sort of justification or contemplation is your story. Stories are justifications to adhere to a particular pattern. Mostly they are just that, stories, that are far from the actual truth. Most of the time they are connected to your consciousness or ego. The words are designed to add weight to a statement that has no weight at all. Real truth needs no justification. Take for example the statement “nature is dynamic”. You can pretty much take that statement as it is. There is no need to prove to anyone that nature is dynamic. It holds its own weight.
  • The Intuitive self answers the best it can based on current information and emotional state. That in itself is perfection. Remember that you can only respond to anything based on any information you have and your emotional state when you have to make a judgement. The beauty of life is that is all you can ever do. At the time there is no right and wrong, just the decision you made in the time you had to make it. Hindsight can provide insight but dwelling on the past distracts you from moving forward. In nature, the circle of life goes on. Things live, die and change in a multitude of ways but we never judge, for instance, why the lion kills a particular beast. The lion just does what it does to survive. That is the beauty and life. It is self correcting. It requires no interference or judgement, yet nature is the most beautiful creator of all.
  • Perfection is derived from total congruence and lack of conflict of the Intellectual and Intuitive self. This is the perfect solution for easing stress and suffering. The ironic thing is when Heart and Mind are aligned, stress and suffering cannot exist. The mind is not taking over and saying “you should do this” when you would feel happier doing something else and your emotions are not overwhelming you so that you make irrational decisions. When you know in your heart what you want to do, no activity is “work” because you just love doing it. You know in your heart and mind what you should be doing. That joy alone means stress and suffering are not in your vocabulary.
  • Acceptance of the decision is immediate and action taken is massive. Consciousness must never create doubt and we must move forward with certainty and conviction before the situational landscape changes. Situations change, if you don’t take advantage of that you may lose the momentum of your actions. When you do make a decision act on it quickly, if you doubt, the “logic” sets in and you may end up with “analysis paralysis”. Even if you do make the wrong choice, just make changes to correct it.
  • There is no such thing as mistakes, everything happens for a reason and the so called randomness of our existence may never reveal itself even if it is part of the mechanistic complexity of the universe. I believe everything has a reason. Some may eventually reveal themselves to you. Mistakes are a judgement. Judgement is a result of logic, which can never be perfect. CFCs were deemed the miracle solution until we worked out what they do to the environment. The same can be said for lead in petrol. But the new found side effects took time to reveal themselves. Life sometimes throws up the same sort of situation, what is right in the past may not serve us now. Inversely, something we did not like in the past, now gives us a valuable learning. Remember that “mistakes” are just insights to a new way to do things. Be thankful you noticed, you learnt and you can move on.
  • Heart and Mind align you with your Purpose. Your purpose and perfection are one and the same thing. Much like the comments above on perfection, when your Heart and Mind are aligned and you receive great joy from what you do, multiple things happen. Things like people like to be around you because you get things done, they also find your actions and thoughts inspiring. When you get things done you are more content because you are making progress. When you have progress it is easy to do the things you do. Productivity and progress have rewards both personally and financially.
