Why You Can Fail Trying Harder

WHY ARE WE TAUGHT HARD WORK PAYS? WHY ARE WE TAUGHT TO BE PRODUCTIVE RATHER THAN EFFECTIVE?

These are 2 questions that constantly plagued me. I am not the sporting type yet I used to watch my friends and sporting heros do so well without apparent effort. In fact for most part they ENJOYED what they were doing.

Here I was in a job I didn’t like, in a career I was just getting by with. Sure the pay was fine but there was no LIFE in it. I was slowly deteriorating into a cycle of survival and bitterness. As a kid I was taught to work hard to get good grades, then get a good job. Well I eventually got there but it took a long time.

The first video pretty much summarised my life so far and the second is the solution. Take a look.

One thing that changed my life was that it was not the number of things I did that made me successful. It was WHAT I did and WHEN I did it. The best way to get the point across to you is to encourage you to study Chapter 12 of the Science of Getting Rich – Effective Action. It only REALLY hit home after I read it probably a dozen or so times. There is really a lot in it. I study a lot and I love it because I get rapid progress and a much more rewarding life. That to me is worth it all. You may want to check out the SGR Club for this very reason
