Abraham and the Law of Attraction

ESTER AND JERRY HICKS WERE IN MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA JUST OVER A WEEK AGO. HERE IS A COMMENTARY ON THEIR PRESENTATION.

Within the seed of your desire is everything necessary for it to blossom to fulfillment. And Law of Attraction is the engine that does the work. Your work is just to give it a fertile growing place in order to expand. — Abraham
Excerpted from the workshop in Albuquerque, NM on Sunday, May 9th, 1999

The above quote from Abraham pretty much summarises the entire work of Ester and Jerry Hicks. On a very rainy day (which is funny because we are in an 8 year drought) about 2000 people gathered to see Abraham live at the Melbourne Convention Centre.

An enthusiastic crowd gathered to hear what Abraham had to say about the Law of Attraction. The Secret in Australia hasn’t had the best press so I was a little surprised by the turn out. I guess it shows the strength of the Universal Laws over media.

During the workshop there were opportunities to ask questions of Abraham. I was very impressed with the quality of questions. It was obvious, many were familiar with Abraham’s work. Again I was a little surprised about this becuase my discussions with people often bring blank stares.

The recordings can be purchased at Ester and Jerry’s site, www.abraham-hicks.com. A free 75 min download is available on the site as an introduction to Abraham’s work. In fact I highly recommend the book Ask and It is Given. It was my first introduction to the Law of Attraction and it changed my life.

Recently I have immersed myself in listening to the Abraham-Hicks CDs. I am grateful for the consciousness they bring to me, and the invitation which is always extended from Abraham to live my life in awareness.
